Pharmaceutical-grade formulas
Rigorous selection of the safest raw materials
Thousands of checks on all production processes
These are the guiding principles of Vitamindermina Research Laboratories.
Every Vitamindermina product is developed, monitored and tested in the in-house laboratories of the Ganassini Institute, ensuring maximum efficacy and reliability.
Vitamindermina uses only the highest-quality and carefully selected ingredients.
The pharmaceutical quality of the Ganassini Group's 3 laboratories is the basis of our excellence.
Each Vitamindermina product requires more than 2 years of efforts to reach high and unavoidable standards before it is put on the market.
Our product development process follows a strict three-phase methodology. Only after passing all stages, each cosmetic is ready for production and sale.

Idea development and active ingredient selection
We start by defining the product concept and selecting key ingredients. Each component plays a specific role in the product effectiveness and stability.

Pilot batch and stability tests
Next, we create a pilot batch to test stability and compatibility with packaging. We ensure that aspects such as appearance, viscosity, colour, scent, pH and the concentration of preservatives and active ingredients remain stable over time.

Safety and efficacy tests
After stability testing, we perform the challenge test, check the efficacy of the preservative system, dermatological safety, and we test the efficacy of the product according to the claims on the packaging.
Our laboratories create products according to the strict parameters of the European Pharmacopoeia, guaranteeing maximum safety and the best results for our customers.
Every step of our process is guided by research and precision.
All products are:

Through Patch Tests, we assess skin tolerability by subjecting the products to occlusive exposure for 48 hours. Expert dermatologists carefully assess any reactions, such as erythema or oedema.

Once safety is confirmed, we evaluate the product efficacy and sensory appeal. Depending on the product, a tailored protocol is developed, involving its use by volunteers over a specific period, monitored by professionals. Results are assessed through instrumental tests and clinical evaluations.

The skin compatibility and sensitisation potential test for cosmetic products involves a repeated Insult Patch Test conducted on at least 50 volunteers, with a minimum of 50% having sensitive skin. The product is applied nine times to a specific skin area (arm or back) using a patch over a three-week period. After a two-week rest period, the test is repeated on previously treated and untreated areas. A dermatologist evaluates any skin reactions at the end of the test.

Each production batch is tested to ensure that levels of the main metals responsible for skin sensitisation are below one part per million (1ppm). We use a highly sensitive tool, the atomic absorption spectrometer, which can detect levels as low as one part per billion (1 ppb).

Ophthalmological tests are conducted to evaluate the tolerability of cosmetic products used in the periocular area. The product is applied daily for an appropriate period by a panel of at least 20 volunteers (50% with sensitive eyes and 50% contact lens wearers). Tolerability is assessed by a medical eye specialist.
